Day 16: My Plans, Goals and Dreams

Plans, Goals and Dreams huh? Okay, I have all of those… somewhere.

I want to go to collage, but not just regular collage. Culinary Academies. It took me a while to discover my passion has always been cooking, and the thing I’m best at is pastries and other desserts. My mom also runs her own ministry and it’s our little family business. Since I already decided I wanted to make pastries I minus well join the family business and be a wedding caterer or cake designer. Or something along the lines of that.

Goals: I want to finish high school. On TIME!

My dreams. One would be to of course be a working part of society, actually contributing something, whatever it may be. And two would be to write a cookbook completely by myself. Recipes, pictures, descriptions, everything. I don’t know what it will be called, but I think that’s how I’m going to make my big break and be on food network. I’ve wanted to be on food network for so long without even realizing it. The last dream though is to work with my favorite chief, Alton Brown. He is my idol in the food world. I think he’s one of the main reasons I want to have a career in the food world.

I would go deeper into my dreams and plans, but it’s time for me to sleep because I have work to do tomorrow.

Day 15: The First 10 Songs on my iPod Shuffle

I don’t have an iPod shuffle. I do have an iPod Classic, but most of the songs on there aren’t mine and I’m going to delete them soon.

So, I’m just going to use my Zune and put it on shuffle.

Day 13: A Letter to Someone Who Has Hurt Me

There are probably hundreds of people I could address this post to, and several specific names come to mind. Though, I think I’ll go for Anthony.

Dear Anthony,

It’s been a while since we’ve talked to each other but I still think about you sometimes, and that confuses me because I have a boyfriend now and shouldn’t do that. I’m sorry I missed your birthday and I’m happy to hear you got engaged, I’m happy for you two I really am. I wish we could talk more often, you were one of the best friends I ever had.

There will always be a place in my heart for you, but one day I hope I’ll stop hurting from it.

That sounded so emo… But it’s all I can think of, I just spent an hour copying recipes from random websites and have to go to bed soon.

Day 12: Nicknames and How I Got Them

Obviously, I would need to tell you my real name for any of my nicknames to make sense, but I’m going to let you guys guess it out there in Lala land.

Jazz-o-rama- My nickname from my mother, she started using it somewhere around the third or fourth grade when I had to build a diorama for the Jurassic time period. My dinosaur was the brachiosaurus because it was my favorite.

Jazzy- Given to me by just about everybody I have met since the first grade. I’ll give you a hint, it’s a play on my name.

Jazzy-bug/Cockroach- Given to me by the kitchen staff at my culinary arts class. Because on the second day of my classes we were all asking random questions to each other. One of the questions was: What’s your favorite animal. My immediate answer was a cockroach, or a snake or other insect. This baffled and disturbed them and they asked me why. My answer: Because they can survive nuclear wars and because it’s nearly impossible to kill them. For the next month one of the kitchen staff Patrick constantly told me all of the ways he used to kill cockroaches as a child.

Princess- This nickname PISSES ME OFF. I have been called it since as long as I can remember, mostly because of my real name and the fact I was named after a famous Disney princess and a flower. I consider myself a tom-boy, so it irritates me when people call me this. So if you want to keep your fingers, don’t call me it.

Freak- Apparently my little sister’s new name for me. Even though she’s insanely jealous of my mad skillz. And yes, I meant to spell that with a ‘Z’. I actually like this one though, it makes me sound interesting.

And last, and certainly my favorite: Dannielle Auttumns- This is the name I wish I had all my life. It’s my OC’s name, it’s what I go by when I introduce myself to people online and the name I wish I could go by for the rest of my life.

Well that’s all the names I can remember being called… besides the regular rude nicknames children have in elementary school for the geeky girl who doesn’t fit in or wear mass quantities of pink clothing. But I don’t have all night to post them, so I’m skipping them.

Day 11: A Picture of Me and my Friends

I don’t have that many pictures of me and my friends because I’m usually the one behind the camera, but I’ve found 2! Both of which are from my trip to my school.

This is me and my friend on the plane ride there, I won’t post her name because I don’t want her to be mad at me. This was a few hours after we met actually.

And this is me and my boyfriend on the last day of my stay at my schooling trip. It was taken at the going away party somewhere around 2 in the morning.

Those ones are really the only ones I can find, I hope I find more pictures for tomorrow’s post.

Day 10: My Favorite Food

I have lots of favorite foods, depending on what mood I’m in. So lets just go with all the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Spring rolls. I found the wonder of these wonderful slices of awesome a few years ago, and have not been able to stop thinking about them since. I usually get the vegetarian or chicken ones, but lately I have started to like the tofu spring rolls I get at this market in midtown and they are AMAZING. They taste to me like the chicken ones when in fact they are completely vegetarian in every way. It’s awesome.

Onion and Pineapple pizza from pizza hut. I found this by pure luck, I used to eat pineapple pizza with my mom when I was younger, but as I got older I realized I craved onion like nobodies business. I adore onions even though they sting my eyes when I cut them. Pineapple and Onion pizza sounds like a really strange combination, but in reality they complement each other very well.

Tuna and Onion Subway sandwich on Wheat bread. Again with my onion adoring, I used to get only tuna on wheat bread, but one day I decided to just eat onions and so I did, and boy was that sandwich delicious. I order it every time I go to subway now.

Spumoni. Italian ice cream. The Neapolitan of Italy. Spumoni is my absolute favorite type of ice cream. It has pistachio, cherry and chocolate flavors. It’s like a party in your mouth! If you haven’t tried it, you really should, it’s amazing.

Pocky.  I think I first started eating Pocky after I got really into anime. It’s Japanese, and I believed I wanted everything to do with Japan, so I started eating pounds of pocky. But can you blame me, it’s frosted bread sticks with chocolate or any other flavor you can imagine on a stick. They are amazing!

As long as I’m still in the topic of Japanese food I have to mention Ramen. Ramen is amazing. It’s simple, quick and easy. Who could ask for anything more. Just three minutes away from complete happiness.

And last, but certainly not least.

Chocolates. I can only think of a few people who don’t like chocolate, and all of them CAN’T eat chocolate. Chocolate is amazing, and anyone who disagrees will be shot by other chocoholics!

That’s all I can think of for now. This post just made me hungry.

Day 9: Something I’m Proud of in the Last Few Days

I know this post is a whole day late, but yesterday I was busy putting the entire contents of my stomach into the toilet. I’ve been sick for the past few days but I felt absolutely horrid yesterday and didn’t bother to turn on my computer.

Anyway, as for yesterdays post.

Something I’m proud of in the past few days is actually finishing another chapter in my my books, actually getting halfway through and getting that much closer to actually finishing it. If this book had been an interesting chapter book and not a regular math book it would have been faster for me to get it done, but who really is noticing what I say nowadays?

Sorry, I’m in a bad mood because I’m sick and want food again. I’ll be in a better mood once I go to bed only to stay up two or so hours listening to my new book.

Anyway, I’m off to make Day 10 now, Tah!

Day 8: Short Term Goals for the Month and Why

I have only one goal for the month and that is to finish doing my work. Last month while I was away at my culinary school I got very behind on my work, having not done it there. I would like to have at least 1 on my textbooks done by the end of the month, which is actually not a very far ways off.

I would also rather like to start updating all my online works that I have been putting off for the longest time. I know what I’m going to write, I just don’t do it. I can practically see the words in my head every time I think of it, but when I sit down at the computer so many other things distract me. It really is a problem and it hasn’t been helping that I have been ill for the past few days and haven’t been at the top of my game.

I really wish being sick was the only thing to blame it on, but really I just need to kick myself in the butt and get to work.

I have a curfew for tonight so I can wake up earlier in the morning so I have to stop writing and go to bed now, even though I’m not tired. I’ll probably read my new book Night Season.

Day 7: The Person Who Had the Biggest Impact on my Life

There are lots of people who have influenced me, the most obvious one is actually one of my best friends in the world, even though I have never met her face to face. My best friend ‘Keo’ as I know her, has always brought a smile on my face since I met her. She is an amazing writer and a great best friend. Me and her have been converstaing for almost 2 years since we met on a site for all those who love Shounan -ai or Boy’s Love. Me and her have been writing together almost since we met each other and we are still going strong at it. I don’t think she knows how important she is to me, but I would like to dedicate this post to her.

Love you Keo, you’re amazing!

Well, since I don’t have a picture for Ms. Keo, I’m going to have to say the second most person who has a huge impact on my life.

This is me and my mom from a few years ago, she may be the greatest mother in the history of the world, Me and her a very close and I love her so much. What can I say really, she gave birth to me, I wouldn’t be alive without her. She has such an interesting personality and an amazing sense of humor. She’s so much fun too.

Another person who has had a great impact on my life is my older brother, he’s over in Iraq right now and I really miss him. I saw him around Christmas, he brought his wife over to meet us she was really nice too.

I would show you a picture of my older brother and his wifey, but I apparently can’t put pictures on here from facebook. Sorry guys!
